New here, but thank you Catherine, for all your work--and I've enjoyed your poetry!

Jayne, many congrats, and I've certainly been on E. long enough to enjoy your humor and your edge--sometimes wonderfully combined! Bravo. Hope to meet you in the summer, if possible, during my annual UK visit.

Cheers,
Charlotte

Cathy

I'm so sorry to see you go. You have such a gift and such a gentle, but skilled touch, but I fully understand. God Bless and be well.

Jayne Osborn

It's amazing how clearly your witty and generous spirit comes through this little machine whose monitor I'm at this moment staring at. What a delight! Jayne's on board!

Clive, Charlotte and Lance,

Thanks for the kind words, all of you. I'm on the Isle of Man at the moment but will be flying back to Liverpool this afternoon, then driving down the M6 to home. It's great that we can travel with these little machines, Lance, and keep in touch from anywhere in the world. Whatever will they think of next?

Cathy,
I am sorry to hear that you won't be a moderator anymore, but I hope that it will give you more time to write. I recently finished reading your Lines of Flight, which I thought was delightful. We need more of these.

Jayne, it will be good to see even more of you on the 'Sphere. Drills and Amusements is a very fun thread, so I keep up with it even when I have no time to post on it. The personalities are as entertaining as the poems.

Susan
