Spherical nostalgia
Just wanted to say how much I've missed the Sphere. After an uninspiring winter, I felt the call again this spring, but found I could no longer get in without a VPN (not unusual for my part of the world). Non-work-related apps are taboo on my laptop, and one-finger phone poking hardly lends itself to criticism and creativity. Keep the porch light on till I find a workaround.

I wondered where you were and missed your posts. Hope you can get the technological issues sorted out.

Hey, Carl—
Delighted to hear from you and looking forward to seeing you regularly on the ‘Sphere! Good luck with the digital deities.

Yes, good to know you are still with us Carl. Hope to hear more from you.
(I sympathise with your lack of mobile phone dexterity. My kids just laugh at me when I attempt to WhatsApp)

I'd been wondering what happened. Glad to hear you'll be returning and that all is ok.

Hey Carl.
Good to hear from you. I'd been wondering where you'd got to. It would be great to see you back. My education in old Russian poetry has stalled badly in your absence, plus no one else seems to want to argue about stress promotion
Maybe it's time to invest in a cheap laptop of you own? The Sphere is so low-tech that even the oldest, lowest-spec computer would suffice. Or for an even more low-budget workaround to one-finger pecking, you could connect a computer keyboard to your phone, via bluetooth or USB cable.

Great to see you made it back, Carl. You left unannounced (as we all must do from time to time) and now that you've surfaced again it reminds me of how much your presence was missed. Find a way back! Matt makes some good suggestions for getting back on track.

Hey, Carl!
Maybe you could email me stuff that you'd like me to post on your behalf. I'll PM you.
Glad to have you back! You definitely class up the joint.
