LOL - we're both at work trying to pull up info on breaks. I'll see if I can't break that tie...

Tim:
We know that he [Biden] has opposed every successful foreign policy initiative in his 35 years, from Reagan's deployment of the Pershing Missles to Germany, to the surge in Iraq. We know that he shoots off his mouth at the cost of shooting himself in the foot.

Please Tim, do not mention "Reagan" and "missiles" in the same sentence; that's, as you say, shooting yourself in the foot.

And another thing Tim, when I had my brain hemorrhage over 30 years ago, and it was utterly impossible to work, guess what, I got a job; and payed my taxes. I paid those taxes in good faith. I expected part of the tax was for my country's defense; not Iran's, but America's. Those missiles were supposed to defend America, not Iran. I don't care if Reagan or Oliver North or you love Iran or hate America or spit on the flag or whatever because those things are only feelings and mean nothing in the big picture; but never mess with my country's defenses and never, ever, give weapons to the enemy. That is unacceptable. You got that?

So, Tim, are you counting Iraq en toto as a "successful foreign policy initiative"? I remember you writing celebratory poems at the beginning of the war, then not much of anything about it once it started to suck.
As for the surge "working," I think the best that can be said is that it's sucked less than previous gambits, but still hasn't solved much overall. The whole war has been an exercise in magical thinking from beginning to present.

I think they're all recorded by the Library of Congress. You might be able to reach the through

I think this might be affiliated with Thomas's Register, another source?
At any rate, several months ago I checked out Barack's vs. Hillary's and for a guy with only a short time in the senate, his sponsoring and success record was impressive.
