I keep skipping the word "by" so that it reads

or

But rumors of their demise are premature, I trust.

I've only just realised how it looks...
I thought of changing those thread titles about the bi-annual pruning, but decided to leave them as they are, as they probably qualify as "click bait":
Advance notice of the end of...
...the end of WHAT??? people may think, so if it causes curiosity about Eratosphere, all well and good.
