Thanks for the responses, everyone. I've gone ahead and entered the poem. It was inspired partly by my shock on learning, every time I have taught Brave New World to my students, that some of them can't see anything wrong with the world described in it. They wish they were there.

That's good, though I think the poem will have a life beyond the contest whether it wins or loses.
