Default Bad Usage at Rattle

Hey Folks,

Well, I'm coming out of a very rough semester, still grading away, and so the timing of this online thing is particularly good. Here's the sonnet that had some discussion on the board over at the Distinguished Guest threads, which I wrote while suffering through student papers some time back. It's posted at the Rattle website and I'm reading it on an audio file, so the fun of it is in seeing how the misspelled poem contrasts with the spoken poem.

Be well, Tony

Congrats. Rattle's an enviably nice placement, and it's always interesting to see what happens to the poems we've discussed in a spirited way.

Congrats, Tony!

A vote from the editors of Rattle is better than any vote here... Except, of course, when the vote is mine!

Nice placement, very cool!

Thanks,

Bill

Funny! Way to go. I, for one, definitely grew up with Bob wire and duck tape!

Thanks, folks. For those interested, the new Rattle, just off the press, has 4 of my monotypes and a 28-sonnet sequence based on "fighting airmen" pulp fiction!
