Hi John,

I've just bought two tickets online for the Saturday performance at 5.30pm.
It will be lovely to meet you and Paula (and see the play, of course). Shall we attempt to meet beforehand, rather than afterwards?
I have a friend who lives less than two miles away from the theatre and we haven't seen each other since Easter, so I'm getting to London by lunchtime. Two reasons for really looking forward to Saturday!

Well done, John. I must tell you that Faber sold the film option on 'The Faber Book of Blue Verse'. Haven't seen the film yet (must be a bit short of plot) but I have seen the £500 I got for it.

I would like to thank Jayne and her friend Helen for braving the trip to London. They kindly bought me copies of The Oldie and The Spectator to show some of who publishes formal verse in the U.K.

It was lovely to meet John and his wife Paula, and we really enjoyed John's one-act play, Dig.

It was especially good to meet a Spherian from across the pond. John told me a bit about Westchester, so maybe next year...who knows?

Totally cool. If your play is running through July, I might be able to see it.
