The Frost Farm Prize
Just a note to say that two Sphereans, Michael Cantor and Jean Kreiling, were finalists in this year's Frost Farm Prize, judged by William Baer. Nice work!

I don't know what the Frost Farm Prize is, but I do know that Michael and Jean are darned fine poets. Congratulations to both of you.
Now I know, I looked it up

Thanks, Catherine. Coincidentally, two of my Powow buddies, Deborah Warren and Midge Goldberg, are reading at Frost Farm tomorrow night - here's a link - it should be a great reading - and I'll be there to hear them, and I figure I'll read my Frost finalist poem in the Open Mic portion of the reading.
I've written Jean Kreilling separately, indicating that we can't keep meeting like this. We've been joint finalists this year in the Frost, the Nemerov (last year as well, I believe) and the Wilbur. This Frequent Finalist #$#&*!! is becoming a bore. I've won a few competitions, and I've had experience as a finalist and semi-finalist. Take it from me. Winning is better!

Congratulations to both of you! And don't worry, you can totally wear that bridesmaid dress again.

Well, I don't know anything about winning, but take it from me, being any kind of finalist is better from where most of us sit. Congratulations, Michael and Jean!

Congrats, Michael and Jean! I, too, would love to see your "finalistic" poems.

oooh Cool. I am so glad Spherians were finalists. I almost entered this, but then just knew some ringers would do so, and fished out. Excellent. Would love to read these poems. Will follow Janice's link
