Well, I did actually, but only because I just looked it up, too.
However, I fail to see how that fits into Allen's hypothesis. Is that the sort of leap of faith that is required to make sense of conceptual poetry? Slick sleight of poetical hand, along the lines of the Old Shell Game?
On reflection, Lear did refer to the Hills of the Chankly Bore...
