Bill, it's good to have a new home for hunting poems. I withdrew the largest of these from Gray's Sporting Journal, which pays well, because I write so many of them each autumn they can't possibly keep up; and I'm hopelessly backlogged there. Looks to me like you published 120 lines of pentameters, which is a lot of ink. Thank you. I'm taking Chucky down to our stomping grounds to flush some spring roosters this morning, and I shall drop off copies at the farms I describe in the prosimetrum.
