Loved the Youtube of him talking, so glad he has his wife still, I really like the Spitalfields church, for personal reasons, such pure work, without the sexaul problems of Freud or Bacon, (the painters folks..). Auerbach's b&w of the head is fabulissimo…also his Mornington Cres painting, really good. What a feast.
it's great you can image them to such size, will think about putting up some more posts.
