Poetry by the Sea: A Global Conference
This is the announcement I think you have all been waiting for! Please contact me for more information, although details will become forthcoming as they are made available.
Poetry by the Sea: A Global Conference
Mercy by the Sea, Madison, CT
May 26-29, 2015
Keynote Speaker: Marilyn Hacker
Looking for a poetry conference to start your summer? Enjoy a four-day global experience on beautiful Long Island Sound, with panels, workshops, and seminars celebrating a diverse community. You might choose to join us for one day or four; you might take some time to walk in the labyrinth garden; or you might have a poetry discussion over one of our community meals or under the stars.
Please join us in raising a glass to the future!

Kim and I are meeting with a couple of the other Directors of the new conference on or around November 21, and the aim is to have registration available by Dec 15.
Meanwhile you can check out the gorgeous venue, and start thinking about your ideal transportation options to Madison, CT.

A lot of those options will take you through New Haven. If you can work it in, definitely see Yale's spectacular Beinecke Rare Book Library.
