The
Metaphysics of Love Project comprises a group of philosophers based at the University of Britishc Columbia who research the philosophy of romantic love (not a branch of philosophy I'd heard of before either). A couple of months back put out a call for poems that would make them think something new about romantic love. They chose five to publish on their web site; they've been posting one a week. This week's
was mine, a poem that I work-shopped here in non-met, and two were by Rachael Briggs, only one of which,
this sonnet, is up yet.
