The Iran-Contra was 1986, and a rearrangement of my lines messed up the Wall reference.

There are always readers smarter than writers.

I could/should have written:

That was way back in the eighties, Sandinista, Khomeini, arms for hostages,

Which I will do if I ever include it in a collection of political verse. Which I would like to do, but there isn't a great outcry for that.

Powerful, Janice!!! I'm crying out for a book of political poetry! What made that not work was the tendency toward propagandizing. You've proven here it can be done. So many grievances, so few voices...
