Aside from the moral & legal issues, what kind of sick puppy uses an anagram for a pseudonym?

Well, "sly showcase: is cleverly constructed, but I suspect the plagiarist never even though of that. It's probably just a simple play on the last name - Cassey Wolsh is really Cassey S, Howl or similar. I've know people like that, and they try not to change their first name. Too much to remember.

I use Poem Hunter to... find poems. It's jolly useful. I wonder if this sort of plagiarism matters much. No money involved and no fame really.

I await being plagiarized as a sign of poetic arrival. Any takers?

I don't get it. A jar in Calgary is nothing like a jar in Tennessee.

What about a jar in Hackneywick?

I placed a jar in Hackneywick.
The pissers filled it up real quick.

Neither is a hill in Calgary anything like a hill in Tennessee. That is, I presume Calgary is pretty flat country; whereas Tennessee was all uphill and downhill when I drove thru it in the 1980's.

But, kudos to Janice for her work in ferreting out this plagiarist. I like Poem Hunter, but it's better off without idiots like Mr. Wolsh, who is probably a 12 year old kid with too much time on his hands.

I sent them an email telling them about Wolsh. They responded promptly, saying they can't remove the poems without "proof" that they are plagiarized. I pointed out that the "proof" is often on their own website, since in many cases they have posted the actual poem with the proper attribution as well as Wolsh's stolen copy. And I sent them a link to this thread. Let's see what happens.
