Use text and save as a parsimonious text file. Such files should be quite readable.

For those who wish to manually save their private messages, try clicking this link:

http://www.ablemuse.com/erato/private.php?folderid=0

With luck, that will take you to a list of received private messages. If you scroll all the way to the bottom, you'll see a link that says

Download all Private Messages as:
XML | CSV | Text

Then choose your poison. XML is webpage readable. CSV opens them in a spreadsheet. Txt is just text.

You'll need to perform a similar action for sent messages...

Just a little personal insurance against data loss...

Alex, did I send you £50. I meant to. If I didn't then remind me how to do it.

Hi John - your contribution was received, thank you! (Hopefully the American bank over here should update your UK bank over there across the pond soon enough for it to show up on your statement.)

Cheers,
...Alex

Why not finance the Sphere by subscription rather than donation, a per annum subscription of, for example, $5.
It seems a shame that problems are arising because of lack of money.
