Amit Majmudar, Now Poet Laureate of Ohio
This just in -- Amit Majmudar (who's the featured poet in the just released issue of Able Muse - winter 2015, and was a past Distinguished Guest here at the Sphere), has just been appointed the first Poet Laureate of Ohio (more here). Congratulations, Amit!

Congrats to Amit. We shared an Alicia Stallings class at WCU five or more years ago, and I remember telling buddies that I'd met an exceptionally good poet, talented and down-to-earth.
