Thanks, everyone!

Hallelujah, Nemo!

Walter, my love—the launch is at Fullers Book Shop in Hobart on 16 September, and we'd love you to come (if wishes were fishes)!!!

But the really exciting thing we're doing differently this time is that we're making a short film about the book, about 20 minutes long. The film maker is in the final stages of editing now, so it will be available to view in time for the launch!

Thanks Chris! I'll pass this on to Davey. Hope you're well! We were going through all our Amherst photos the other day . . . great memories . . .

Thanks, Sarah—when you get to read the book, I hope you find it satisfying. It certainly fills my heart to bursting!

I'll post the link to the film here as soon as it's made public.

Cally

As promised, here is a link to the short film made to accompany the publication of Davey's new book, Pacific Light. I hope you enjoy it!

It's lovely! I particularly like the bit at around 9.40 and 9.42 - gorgeous imagery and language.

And your underwater photography is amazing! A hidden landscape!

Oh, Nemo and Sarah-Jane, I am utterly rapt that you like it! It was an amazing project to be part of, totally inspiring in ways I didn't expect. Making it was almost indistinguishable from making a poem.

Sarah-Jane, what happens under the surface—the life, colour and movement there—is for me the most enthralling thing in life. It means the world to me to be able to share it!

The film is now up on YouTube, so here's the link. Some viewers find it more convenient.
