Beautifully, gently contemplated, Siham. You've reminded me to treat them with reverence. I've been turning the earth in my garden patch that is thawing back to life, and unearthing worms as I do. Their exposed presence slows me; I watch them struggle to find a place to bury themselves. (It is worm season here in New England. Mud everywhere.)
