"In the mind of Time" is the weakest part of this piece. It presents the sort of gauzy quasi-philosophical phrasing that is a staple of beginning writers. The rest of the piece presents a good selection of tangible images but I don't see the sense of starting out the way you've chosen.

I apologize for taking a while to return. On top of my other structural deficiencies--knee replacement in a couple of weeks for one--I decided to break my big toe.

There is a slight revision above. I followed John's suggestion to "In the mind of Time." I was leaning in that direction so thanks John for the confirmation.
