Hi Jan, I regret not having commented on this before now, and am grateful it has popped up again, having read it earlier and being taken by its sensory-laden/sensual feel and vividness of imagery. (I've also not found the time to comment on a few other poems you've posted recently that I was similarly impressed by. My apologies.)
This is not a poem that would benefit from my nitpicking, as I sometimes feel obligated to do given the workshop platform.
I would be happy to have a book of your poems on my bookshelf. Right alongside a book of poems by Cally Conan-Davies (if I could find one : )) .
