Hi Petra,

Bob seems to be missing in action! I'd emailed him a reminder yesterday when I also noticed he had then that he was late posting the call for submissions.

I'm hoping he'll post it before the end of day today, if not, I'll steal his thunder and do it the way he'd, hopefully, want it to proceed.

Cheers,
...Alex

For the benefits of those who haven't noticed my edits of the first post of this thread - since editing doesn't *bump* - here's a repeat of those edits that include the bump factor:

Quote:

Feb 6, 2011 Update: Additional Confirmed DG's: J. Patrick Lewis, and Robert Mezey
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Feb 8, 2011 Update: Additional Confirmations for French Repeating Forms Event -- DG: Bruce Bennett; Host: Susan McLean
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Feb 10, 2011 Update: Latest news for Free Verse Event -- Dorianne Laux confirmed as DG
(And thanks to Orwn Acra & David Rosenthal who tried, though unsuccessfully to snag D.A. Powell & Tony Hoagland respectively)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, I'm almost there with filling in all the PROPOSED or TBD slots with confirmed names ... yes, all the planned fun and informative events for this year should happening after all!

Cheers,
...Alex

Great to have Mike Juster as DG for the Translation Bake-off!

My summer dates are only now becoming clear. I'll need to wrap the event up at the start of July - which I hope will be ok.

A slight readjustment of the dates for the Translation Bake-off with Michael Juster.

Submissions accepted from May 20th(or after the French forms event) until June 19th.
DG’s reading week June 19th – 25th.
The selected translations posted from June 26th till July 5th (with opportunities for comment and guess-the-translator).
