I loved it too, hearing it, and now, reading and rereading. Extraordinary poem.

I'm an acquaintance of Dave's former wife, Annie Lennox, a frequent guest at the house. But I think this fine sonnet is convincing evidence of how his love for Cally has made Dave a born-again poet.

This one was stunning when read and is so on the page. There's no getting to the bottom of it. A great poem.

I wish I'd been to WCU this year to hear Dave read it. This is a wonderful sonnet. Thanks, Cally!
