1. Café Noir
2. Wede Away
3. Cardio
There are many fine sonnets, but those are my favorites.
Thanks again, Catherine, and thanks to all the poets and those who commented on the poems. I enjoyed reading the discussions in the threads.

1. Cardio
2. Um Português
3. Bedtime Story
But on another day, or another hour of the day, it could just as easily have been A Visit on All Saint's Day which I really, really like. Man, it was hard to set aside Navy Housing too.
Believe me, I have agonized over this decision. When it comes right down to it, it is the twanging of the heartstrings that cinches it and, alas, that is totally out of the poet's control.
All are fine poems in their own way, of course, and thanks again Cathy and our guest Mr. Cassity for your excellent contributions.

Surprisingly, no one has yet voted for my favorite, so here it is:
1. After She Left.
2. Into His Hand.
3.
I am leaving my third choice blank until the day of judgment, when the secrets of all hearts shall be revealed.

I'm really torn between my first two choices, if it was allowed I'd like as joint first:
1. Into His Hand & Wede Away.
2 Navy Housing.
If I had to make a choice I suppose it would have to be...
Into His Hand

1. Into His Hand (because it's perfect)
2. Navy Housing (because I've been there)
3. Winter Wheat (because it could almost take me there)

1. "Wede Away" and "Winter Wheat"
2. "After She Left"
