Default Shameless self-promotion

I was very chuffed today to receive a copy of the Japanese literary journal 'Coal Sack' in which my book 'Passing through the Woods' is reviewed and extensively quoted. Alas, I do not know whether the review is positive or negative, since I cannot read Japanese.
I was equally chuffed to receive a royalties statement--and a cheque--from my publisher for the period January-March 2013 saying that 23 books have been sold. This was a surprise, since the book came out a year ago and you don't expect them to sell after the first few months, particularly if you don't promote them.
So I'm feeling well-disposed towards the poetry world at the moment (but will keep the day job).
