I agree, a better title could make a big difference. The current one was a last-minute “post-it”, honest enough but not going to turn any heads.

I see the protagonist as a bit of a Prufrock character, and was wondering whether a quote from Eliot’s poem would work. Eg “Eyes that fix you”, “Visions and revisions”, “the faces that you meet”. Then again, that might just be too arch, pretentious.

My current favourite is “Eye Contact”
