I was just saying the words "Feliz Navidad" not the song, though the song is pretty cool too. But now that you mention it, it seems that the best carols are originally in Latin, German, or French; to me at least. The best that were originally English were from English-speaking Germans (Handel and Mendelssohn). The English language doesn't seem particularly conducive of spirituality.

"The Holly and the Ivy" is a particularly nice old English carol.

A few years ago I was in Tlazcala, Mexico, around Christmas time. It was a lot of fun listening to all the Christmas songs they were playing in one of the restaurants, all in the original languages. Lots of German, lots of English, lots of Spanish and even a bit of French and other languages.
