Tim, I was referring to my voting for my poem this year. No reference to your ever having done such a thing intended--not that I wouldn't admire anyone gutsy enough to vote for his or her own entry!~,:^)

Hey, I thought mine deserved at least one vote! (ORWN, thanks for the HM!)

My observation about this year's celebration being a bit slow is based on previous years when you could check every three hours or so and see some action. There were long cold stretches this time.

I love Deck The Halls! I am just so sorry my time has been so taken up this year just doing all the things necessary to settle into a new place, a new country. I'm sorry I couldn't participate as I would have liked! It all seemed to be upon us so quickly this year! In fact, I realise now, I didn't even read each entry - there are two I completely missed. Mea culpa.

And I miss Sharon's decorations! They always made it special.

Well, the poems are all still there and we will have time to come back to them in the days ahead. Now that the Thermador of the Voting Weekend has passed, resolving in only a few, small, over-tired tantrums (the upside of a slow Deck celebration), let each of these lights, even the one about a puking hangover, burn at its true level on the prickly green tree.

Late, late, late--wasn't clear to me what this was about--but what a delight, what a wonderful, diverse group of poems.

Would it be possible to post a final list of the ten authors and where the titles appeared? A newcomer like me is seeing most of these for the first time. Some authors are still a mystery, and most of the venues unidentified, too.

3, No One Knows. Unclaimed, but I'm guessing it's by Laura Heidy-Halberstein because of the places it turns up online and the blog name associated with it.

4, Workshop Romance. Mary Meriam. (I haven't found pub information.)

5, Your Other Women. Susan McLean. (I think this one is in her book, The Best Disguise.)

Good guess about Lo. I think I remember now seeing it workshopped.

My tubes were never published, Maryann - merely workshopped on D&A. Probably the mention of arses was deemed to be lowering the tone! I think the Jubilee Line one was Frank O's but I may be wrong.
