Brian, you've come up with some good ones. But maybe your "fancy bred" one is a bit too close to the one Jayne quotes in her post #28 above?

Earth has not anything to show more fair
Than pink Victoria's Secret underwear.

I'm not sure how compulsive I'll get with this; I already have well over 25 but I don't know how inclined I am to keep chasing to try and catch lightning in a bottle. The following are among my cut list:
He disappeared in the dead of winter,
As barren and cold as a play by Pinter.
My little horse must think it queer
That Busch would sell his pee as beer.
I shall wear white flannel trousers and walk along the beach,
Being watchful for syringes that may wash within my reach.
And lo! ben Adhem's name led all the rest;
The "Do Not Fly" list worked - who would've guessed?
Know then thyself; presume not God to scan.
Get ample sleep and exercise and bran.
I shall forget you presently, my dear,
Your mama says to half the sailors here.
When my love swears that she is made of truth,
I sniff her breath for Boodles and vermouth.

If those are the ones you cut, I'm in trouble. I like the beer one in particular.
I sent mine in already because I didn't want to be chasing all week. Let me know when you've sent your in and we can swap if you like.

Since this thread has popped up again, I'll add a few more. Epigone/my better half gets credit for coming up with Siri as a rhyme for weary. And his fondness for Wagner inspired the second one.
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
"There are six exterminators near you that list birds," said Siri.
Had we but world enough, and time,
I'm sure I'd find The Ring sublime.
I think that I shall never see
A grown-up who can start the Wii.
Looking forward to a 'Sphere domination of the results! Lots of great ones here.

The golf-links lie so near the mill
The kids can caddy for me and still
Be to work on time.

I took the one less traveled by,
a cab will come, by and by.
The murmurous haunt of flies on summer eves,
O greasy barbeque, the swatter, please!
When forty winters shall besiege thy brow,
I shall find a younger model, somehow.
I wandered lonely as a cloud,
because I farted, long and loud.
This is a guilt-inducing exercise! But great fun.

Reason: never quote Keats from memory, two mistakes!

Catherine, I've had two different entries get "ink" in the Washington Post using Siri jokes, so I think you and epigone stand a really good shot with that one.

A couple of unprintables also occurred to me. Roger, there is a part of the WP site where noteworthy off-color entries are printed, right?
