Well, I suppose the Monster Chicken was more revealed to me in a sort of Road to Damascus moment in a state of finals-induced affective psychosis while an undergraduate. Wrote some about it ....

We have a syndrome here.
In my first run through graduate school (also in the Middle West), the urban rubes in my dorm and I decided to write a short operetta about a Great Bird of Guano. I was the lyricist, and somewhere I think remains a single copy of the Invocation and Chant For The Elevation Of The Wings. (I came across it some years ago, deep in the infrastructure.) Since that typescript probably still exists, my earlier statement this would be too hard to do is inoperative. The problem is finding it again. That might be too hard to do. How much are you paying?
Could there be gender or hemispheric determinants involved?
Do North American chicks also experience bird possession during schooling?
Do sheilas?
