Default New children's book

My first children's book (57 lines of exactly rhymed iambic tetrameter tercets) is available for preorder from Paul Dry Books:

https://www.pauldrybooks.com/products/girlatee

No clothed animals, no talking animals, no magic or dei ex machina.

The distinguished illustrator, Grant Silverstein, has done children's books for David Mason, Alicia Stallings & many others.

Congratulations, Mike.

It's a very cute book that I think Erato folks (and their offspring) will appreciate. Like all good picture books, the words and the illustrations feed off each other, sort of the way words and music reinforce each other in a good song.

.
Done (pre-ordered).

This is a precious opening:

Offshore there was a family—
a manatee, a mummatee,
and Grace, their little girlatee.

Looking forward to sharing with my grandkids (seven of them — all between 2-6 years). Also looking forward to the wordplay and to feel the buttoned-up iambic tetrameter tercets.

Thank you, all, for your kind words.

It seems to be going over well with actual children, which is a great joy.
