Corinna?
I want to go a-maying with Corinna today. Do any of you UK members know how I could get in touch with her?
Nay! not so much as out of bed?
When all the birds have matins said
And sung their thankful hymns, ‘tis sin,
Nay, profanation, to keep in,
Whereas a thousand virgins on this day
Spring sooner than the lark, to fetch in May.

You could try taking a ramble in St James's Park.

Although we may never know (Bob’s rather tight-lipped), whenever I hear the name Corinna I first think of Dylan’s cover of the song Corinna Corinna from his Freewheelin’ LP.
My hope is that he had the Corinna of the Poets in mind. Here’s his early version of the song -- without harmonica -- which I think keeps the song’s mood exactly where it should be (longing).

Well, I had Corinna of John Wilmot in mind, so perhaps Aaron had better ignore my suggestion.

I'm sorry, but Corinna is booked up until well into next year. It's not like the old days. There are so few virgins now, and so many poets. The best we can do for you is the fourth or fifth night of Hanukkah, with Deborah.
