Diann Blakely (assistant poetry editor of "The Antioch Review") has a three-part series on New Orleans contemporary writers appearing in the online "Nashville Scene." I was thrilled to be mentioned in Part II, which deals with New Orleans poets:

Blakely also has some interesting observations about the use of form by New Orleans poets, and about how "plain style" poetry just does not fit the sensual excess that is (was) New Orleans.
