The program, held at the Robert Frost Farm, 122 Rockingham Rd (Rt 28) in Derry, NH begins at 6:30pm and concludes with an Open Mic from 7:30-8:30pm. It is free and open to the public.

I agree, Janice, it is indeed a "great schedule." This year they did an exceptional job of putting the series together. Are you a Hyla Brook poet?

Derry is 2 hours from my house. I'm in 2 Masters programs and have a family and work full time- but I think I can get there for the August and September readings.

I was there last June and enjoyed the tour with Emily who is seven years old. We have been meaning to create a children's garden ever since.

I'd have to call myself more of a workshopper than a poet - and Hyla has an excellent workshop! Accomplished poets frequent the workshop and their feedback has been invaluable to beginners like me.

Speaking of accomplished poets, Spherian Stephen Scaer will be the Hyla Brook Poet joining Stephen Burt - it's always a Hyla Brook Poet followed by a featured reader and an open mic.
