Just received a notice of the winners of the Great Lakes Commonwealth of Letters Sonnet Contest in honor of Shakespeare's birthday, and the winner is...Jean Kreiling!!! Not only that, but she is also listed as an Honorable Mention! I'd call that a clean sweep. Huge congrats to Jean. This is another huge Spherian win. And in another Shakespeare sonnet contest, sponsored by the San Diego Reader, Mary Meriam is a winner (one of five)! That win is also mentioned in Jennifer Reeser's post re that contest. So it's a clean sweep for the sphere.
