J.D. Scrimgeour is the author of
The Last Miles, a collection of poetry, and currently, runs the Creative Writing Program at Salem State College. J.D.'s Massachusetts roots are deep and traditional: one of his ancestors was put to death for being a witch, and another served on the jury that passed down the death sentence.
