Sharon Kourous spends her winters teaching high school English and her summers in complete isolation from teens. She travels, reads, writes, and takes long afternoon naps. Her work has been published in print and on the web, which she has come to prefer for its sense of community and its quick feedback (as well as postage saved). Her work can be seen at Poet's Canvas, Eclectica, Terrain, and various other places. She is grateful to friends whose books litter her shelves, and admits to being very forgetful about returning certain favorites.
