Peter Marris is the author of a novel, The Dreams of General Jerusalem (Bloomsbury) and of eight sociological studies, including, most recently, The Politics of Uncertainty (Routledge). Born in London, he taught for many years at the University of California, Los Angeles and currently teaches at Yale University.
