For over a decade, Beth Houston has been conducting Creative Writing workshops and teaching at San Francisco Bay Area universities, including the University of California at Berkeley and Santa Cruz, San Francisco State University, and the Harvey Milk Institute. She has published over 250 poems in journals and anthologies such as The Literary Review, Yale Review, Massachusetts Review, and Feminist Studies, as well as an online chapbook at Web Del Sol (webdelsol.com) and early editions of Able Muse. She is the author of six poetry books (Angels In Exile, Exothermic Reaction, Cabbage Patch, The Goddess of Weeds, Cracked Mirror, In Tongues of Violent Angels) and forthcoming nonfiction books.
