Nature abhors a vacuum. So
does he—he’s close enough
to godliness already. But
an ex-free safety’s wife

needs some weakside help. He’s man-on-
man with the washing machine
while she does briefs in Federal Court.
His toilets look pristine

as punchbowls. . . .Flushing, he turns blue
as Vanish. Five o’clock
and he’s forgotten to wrap up
tackling Coquille St. Jacques!

She’ll hyperventilate—
or swear he can’t pee straight.
