Congratulations, Maryann. You've posted many poems here that deserve book publication.

Maryann, I am delighted to hear all of this good news from you. I will be in touch with you about the chapbook. Of course I want the signed edition.

And the others--wonderful pubs, fully deserving of your work!

I missed this one, and am bumping it up to say major congrats, Maryann! It's a good list at Scienter, and it just got better by adding your work to it.

Amazon, by the way, says your chapbook is not available yet. Do you know anything about that? Scienter says people overseas should buy from Amazon.

Andrew

Thanks, Janice and Andrew. I've just ordered more copies from the publisher so that I have more that I can sign.

Andrew, the arrangement seems to be that Amazon will get them from Scienter when Amazon receives orders. It's probably slower that way, but it lets a tiny operation like Scienter avoid the complications of international shipping. Thanks for asking.

Maryann,

I hope you'll forgive me for waiting so long to add my voice of congratulations to all the others. What a wonderful event for you!

I can't imagine how it feels to hold such a thing in your hands, but I hope you've taken a moment to sit down in some room somewhere, all alone, with the book in your hands, and close your eyes. Think of all the life that went in to it, think of all the work, and all the hopes and disappointments and triumphs those pages represent. And just for that one moment, forgive yourself everything, all the difficult times, and all the revelries, and whisper to yourself: "I did this!"

Congrats. You deserve all this, and more. I'm sure there is *much* more, still to come!

Thanks,

Bill

I was pleased to see it can now be ordered on Amazon, Maryann.
However, including postage, it costs about £28 ($40) to send to the UK, which seems steep compared with the $8.50 cover price.
I shall order it, but will wait a while to see if the price comes down.
Best,
David

David, Amazon never ceases to baffle me. I've sent you a PM; I'll bet we can work something out.

Maryann, I'm interested in a signed copy, but how does one pay you from way, way down south? Paypal? Visa into your bank account?

Peter

And oh, super congrats.
