In the continuing Spherical domination of The New Verse News, today we have Kimberly Poitevin providing some new lyrics for a Gilbert & Sullivan melody. Check it out here. Go, Kim!

Kimberly, I love you! Even more than before.

I heard that on last night's news and even heard his actual SAYING IT and I thought that is something somebody should submit to NVN.

And you did!!!! Yahoo!

Added in: And this was the news on the Swedish radio. We are rolling in the aisles over here in Europe!!!

Love it, love it, love it! Akin deserves all the skewering he receives, and this is expertly done. Congrats, Kimberly!

I've been away for a bit (and am so busy at the moment I don't have a chance to check in as much here as I'd like), but wanted to thank Maryann, Marybeth, Siham, Charlotte and Janice for the kind words. I don't know why that tune popped into my head when I initially read about the incident, but once it did, I guess I was inspired.

I continue to be amazed at what certain male politicians have to say about women and rape. Here's another one. Sigh.

True, Gail, and millions of women, in places not heaven, are weeping.

Zing! The laugh is on Mr. Akin, and a very good laugh it is. This begs to be recorded.
