Oh John, I wish you were here where I could talk to you! I too once had a "plague on both your houses" attitude to our political parties, but after the Bush-Cheney years (when, among other disasters, we waged 2 wars on a credit card) I swore I would never vote Republican again. All I can blame the Democrats for is their annoying political correctness. Compared to the GOP, the Democrats are comic relief.
