Gilbert Allen

Gilbert Allen's fourth collection of poems, Driving to Distraction, will be forthcoming in January 2003 from the Orchises Press. This new book will contain some work that first appeared in Cumberland Poetry Review, The Georgia Review, Image, Quarterly West, Shenadoah, The Southern Review, and other magazines. His previous collections are Commandments at Eleven, Second Chances, and In Everything. Gil and his wife, Barbara, live in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, where they are both equally dedicated to their house and yard.
